Breakfast & After School Club (Wrap Around Care)

We are very pleased to announce that Eversley Primary School are now operating their own Breakfast and After School Club.

At Eversley Primary School we believe children learn best when they are happy and have a love of learning.  Our values based curriculum provides them with the tools they need to be effective learners and prepares them for life, whilst supporting them to have the self-belief and determination to be the best they can be.

The club is an educational provision supporting the school curriculum:

  • Arts
  • PE/Sports Sessions – including Football, Dance and Dodge Ball
  • Science
  • DT including Food Tech
  • Spotlight Sessions with focused activities
  • Free Play – Outdoor Play, Games
  • Homework/Study support/Tutoring Program

Breakfast Club supplies a healthy and balanced breakfast in line with Government Guidelines, promoting healthy eating, and a variety of cereals, milk, and fruit daily.

If you wish for your child to bring in a snack for after school this will be permitted, please note that children will not be allowed to have crisps or chocolate, and any snack provided must abide by the schools ‘no nuts or sesame seeds’ policy.

How can I make my booking without having to pay with a credit card?

We will be accepting childcare vouchers, there are a large number of different providers and we will confirm once they are all set up and in place.

Will the new club accept Childcare vouchers?

Yes, we will be accepting the following Childcare Vouchers; Care 4, EdenRed, Fideliti, Sodexo, Kiddivouchers, Midcounties

Will the new club be accepting (TFC)Tax-Free Child payments?

Yes.  Providers must register for Tax-Free Childcare before parents can use the scheme to pay for childcare at their setting. We are awaiting some documentation from HMRC and aim to get this in place as quickly as possible.

I can’t see a sibling discount on my booking, as with the previous after school club. Will I still get a discount?

There is still a family discount; this will be shown at checkout/on your invoice.

Will snacks be provided?

Snacks will be provided in the first instance and this will be reviewed following feedback.

Can my child attend an external club from 3.15pm till 4.15pm and then go to after school club?

Yes, children can attend other after school clubs first.  You will need to book a late booking session on the booking system.

Who will be supervising the children attending the new club?

As this is a TUPE situation it means all the current staff immediately transfer; so Mario, Angela, Steve, Karen and Mitra will all be part of the team with the addition of some Eversley teachers.

Will teachers be running the clubs in the main hall or in class rooms to split up the activities?

Activities will be available for all children attending the club and will have various locations depending on participants and the activity type.  For example; football or dodge ball would be in the main hall, a quiet club in the dining hall and arts and crafts taking place in a classroom.

Will all the year groups be mixed?

Yes year groups will be mixed.

We also offer a range of external fee paying clubs including Art, Brazilian Football, Cookery, Chess, Dance, Drama, Football, French, Karate, Spanish, Tae Kwondo, Performing Arts and Yoga.
